This album is the first album of new material by former insane picnic frontman Barry Lamb since 1991's "Seven Secrets". "Experimental music that will challenge your listening boundaries. This album is stark but with an ambient undercurrent. Influences are far reaching, as experimentalists such as Beaver & Krause, John Cage, Harry Partch & Amm meet alongside more contemporary elements such as PiL, Eno, Can and the industrial scene of the early 80's".

Small Packages is the second release on the Six Armed man label and is comprised of archive recordings with new treatments and instrumentation and new recordings with sounds from the vaults thrown at them cunningly mixed and blended ready to be shipped in Small Packages.

The first release on the Six Armed man label is hopefully a statement of intent. This release is experimental without being unlistenable and suitably challenging to take the listener beyond normal scopes of what may be termed as generic music. A refreshing approach to delivering new music to our ears and excellent visually stimulating packaging too.
