A long overdue collection of Wavis' hits and rarities from this celebrated cult figure. Eccentric, brash, unashamedly Lo-Fi and quite unique. Perhaps in similar territory as Vivian Stanshall with roots in glam rock, music hall tradition and punk.Compiled by Wavis himself and featuring tracks exclusively remastered by Falling A.

18 track collection culled from the Falling A archives in celebration of the diy cassette. Cassette culture had a significant impact on the post punk era  and independent record label boom of the early 1980's. It has been largely undocumented but our aim is to put this right. The first release in the series covers a diverse selection from a rare version of "Johnny the Moondog" by the Cleaners from Venus to Wavis O'Shave performing a unique cassette version of "The Hard". Sleeve notes are by Martin Newell.

10 track sampler featuring rarities and outtakes. This is one of the legendary Falling A samplers featuring some very rare material including an early Cleaners from Venus track. This sampler CD is in the vein of those classic samplers of the late 60`s/early 70's that gave a taste of the most adventurous music around at the time. It is in the same spirit that Falling A have taken on the banality of the music industry with some adventurous and challenging music. It ranges from the atmospheric sounds of Selected Rejection, to the brilliantly crafted song of the Rabbits Hat, the urban funk of Josda Dan, a beautiful but poignant song from the master craftsman of pop Martin Newell in the guise of the Cleaners from Venus and the psychedelic/progressive music of Ermin Grud featuring a great Hammond Organ sound.
